What Is The "Wave of Light"?

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, which means a special event known as the Wave of Light will be taking place throughout the world.

The International Wave of Light is an event where families light a candle at 7pm according to their local time. The candle is left burning for at least an hour in honor of all of the babies who have been lost during pregnancy and in infancy. The idea is that there is a constant wave of light throughout the world. Everyone can participate!

I had never heard of the Wave of Light until recently, so this will be my first year participating. If you would like to take part in the event, use the #WaveofLight on social media. And if you'd like to honor Onyx, please use #WaveofLightForOnyx - I will be sharing photos on Instagram <3
